One Dish Delicious Cheesy Turmeric Chicken Hash

Who doesn’t love one dish meals?

One dish meals are the way to go, they are a great way to be creative, save dishes and still have a hearty meal that the family will love. I am always looking for a new twist on popular dishes. This one-dish delicious cheesy turmeric chicken hash is a creative concoction that will be sure to please therefor leaving them wanting more.

Ingredients

serves 4

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 3 Italian sausages
  • 1 small bag of frozen chunky hash browns
  • 2 cups of grated mixed cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek plain yogurt
  • 1/2 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup broccoli chopped
  • 1/4 c zucchini
  • 1/4 cup red pepper
  • 1/4 c green beans
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp diced garlic
  • 1/2-1 small onion diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tsp of Turmeric powder

Why add turmeric?

Adding turmeric to a dish has many benefits. Turmeric can be added to almost anything, smoothies, baking, meals that require the flavor of curry. It has numerous health benefits so adding a tsp of this powerful antioxidant to any meal will reduce inflammation as well as fight and prevent cancers. You can even add it to banana bread.

Directions

Preheat oven at 400 F

Put hash browns in Air-fryer for 8 min until lightly golden. Set aside.

Chop and fry chicken and sausage in fry-pan. Add oil, turmeric, garlic, onions and stir in vegetables. Stir in soup, cream cheese and yogurt and 1 cup water to the mix.

Pour hash browns into a large casserole slow cooker, dutch oven or small roaster.

Spread mixture over hash browns. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 20-30 min or until cheese is bubbly and melted to lightly browned.
